木製の木地に溜塗のみを施されており、シンプルなデザインとなっています。

莨盆の前後に独楽の透かしが入れられており、すっきりとした雰囲気となっています。

口の上部の形はそれぞれの中央を中心に丸く、昔のくしのように作られているので

やわらかく、やさしい風合いを感じることが出来ます。

少し現代風の垢抜けたデザインで、高級感も感じることが出来ます。

Echizen Lacquerware – Jimyōsai Gonomi Style – Openwork Spinning Top Motif – Tame-nuri – Tabakobon (Tobacco Tray) – Wooden – Urushi Lacquer

We are pleased to present a tabakobon (tobacco tray) in the Jimyōsai gonomi style of the Omotesenke school, crafted in Echizen lacquerware.

Made from wood and finished solely in tame-nuri (transparent reddish-brown lacquer), the design is simple yet refined.

Openwork spinning top motifs are incorporated into both the front and back panels of the tray, giving it a clean and airy impression.

The upper rim of the mouth is shaped so that the central portion of each side curves gently inward, reminiscent of the shape of an old comb, lending the piece a soft and gentle character.

The overall design carries a slightly modern, polished feel while retaining a sense of luxury.
