清水焼から桜の抹茶碗のご紹介です。

薄茶色の土をろくろ挽きで成型し白釉を掛け

その上から桜柄が手描きされています。

白とピンクの桜の花が満開で咲き乱れており

花の縁が金色で描かれていることもあって

豪華で美しい雰囲気に仕上がっています。

他にも枝の茶色や花の赤色や緑も使われ

色彩豊かで、絵柄の構図もよくバランスが

とれた抹茶碗といえます。

白釉の部分にほんのりと赤みを帯びた部分が

あり細かい貫入が入っています。

両手におさまる、ちょうどいいサイズで

軽くて扱いやすくなっています。
