萩焼から小松健 作の抹茶碗のご紹介です。

萩特有の小石の混じった薄茶色の土を

ろくろ成形し釉薬を掛けて作られています。

ビワ色の釉薬は、何とも言えない趣のある、

やわらかい風合いとなっています。

胴にはろくろ目が見られ、若干丸みを

帯びています。

表面には無数の貫入とピンホールが見られ

荒々しい風合いとなっています。

高台は竹節高台で、その周囲は小石が

見られ粗い土味を感じます。

茶碗の正面と内側の側面には白い釉薬の

垂れがあり特徴となっています。

手におさまる、ちょうどいいサイズ感で、

萩焼の良さが凝縮された逸品といえます。
