美濃焼　粉引　手づくり　長角盛皿

美濃焼から手づくりの長角盛皿の

ご紹介です。

この盛皿は黒土を「たたら」という技法で

成形し粉引の釉薬を掛けられて

作られています。

「たたら」とは、陶土を板状にしたものを

応用して成形するもので精製の陶土を手で

捏ねて平たく延ばし、ヘラで必要な形に

切って作る技法を言います。

この器は手づくりで作られており、

大変手間がかかっています。

釉薬は粉引のみでシンプルですが、生地の

黒土が所々に現れピンホールや貫入、釉薬の

流れが見られ土ものの素朴な雰囲気が

出ています。

素朴な白色は、どんな料理もぐっと引き立て

体裁よく見せてくれます。

この長角盛皿は４隅と縁が上げて作られて

おり、ある程度の汁気のある料理も

盛り付けて頂けます。

低めの４つ足が付いて安定しており、

特別感もあります。

The "tatara" technique involves shaping clay that has been flattened into a board-like form. It is worked by hand, kneading and rolling the refined clay flat, and then cutting it into the required shape with a spatula.

The platter is handcrafted, which requires considerable effort. Although the glaze is simple with only a hakeme finish, the exposed black clay reveals natural imperfections such as pinholes, crackling, and drips, giving the piece a rustic pottery feel.

The understated white color enhances any dish and presents it elegantly.

The rectangular platter has elevated corners and edges, allowing it to hold dishes with a certain amount of liquid.

The low four feet provide stability and add a special touch.

It can accommodate a generous amount of food, making it suitable for both Japanese and Western dishes. Its stylish design also complements modern homes.
